From January 1, Ukrainian airports will stop issuing visas: the Foreign Ministry explained
State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Zayets informed that from 1 January 2019 at international airports of Ukraine will stop issuing Ukrainian visas to foreigners. But at the same time, the functional of electronic visa, which will cost $ 85, will expand.

According to Secretary, by expanding the function of an electronic visa, the number of states whose citizens will be able to receive such an authorization document will increase, as well as a growing list of grounds for issuing it.
Before 2019 the reason for getting an e-visa was only a toursm or business trip. And from January 1, 2019, treatment, private trips to visit relatives are added to this. Visas for journalists are added also.

To apply for an electronic visa, you need to fill out an online application form, download scanned copies of the required documents, pay a visa card with a bank card and print out the receipt received on the email address of the visa.
Electronic visas are valid for citizens of the following countries: Australia, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Bahrain, Bolivia, Bhutan, Vanuatu, Haiti, Guatemala, Honduras, Grenada, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Cambodia, Qatar, Costa Rica, Kuwait , Laos, Mauritius, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Micronesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Oman, Palau, Peru, El Salvador, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Singapore, Suriname, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Fiji, Jamaica.
